  1. To install From Scratch version 1.1:

  3. Start Windows, or if Windows is running, get to the Program Manager.
  4. (This is the first screen you see when you start Windows)

  6. Choose File/Run
  7. Type A:Setup
  8. Follow the directions on your screen.
  9.  
  10. If you are installing 'From Scratch' from any place other than drive A:,
  11. simply specify that instead, for example C:\Arcs\Test\Setup.
  12.  
  13. The files that end with the underscore have been compressed using the
  14. Microsoft format, and can be expanded using the EXPAND utility packed
  15. with windows. However, the install.exe program will do this for you
  16. automatically. The install program will also create a directory and a
  17. program manager group for its files.

  19. From Scratch is registered with the Association of Shareware
  20. Professionals. See the OMBDSMN.ASF file for details.
